Books for everyone!
Since in our weekly meetings, people keep bringing up titles of books that people should read, I think we should perhaps have a post dedicated to this. Or maybe several posts.

I start by offering my "I don't care who you are and if you've only read sports fiction until now" recommendation: Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere.

My two cents: Fantasy and Science Fiction Magazine

Hands down, some of the best writing in the field, in my opinion. I've had a subscription since I was 14 or 15 and it's the one magazine I still get every year. There's something for everyone, from any genre in there, even people who don't think they like fantasy/science fiction/horror/mystery/romance/speculative fiction/whatever you feel like calling it. The articles are also worth reading. I've been known to read Lucius Shepard's film reviews aloud to anyone who will stand still long enough and some who won't.

I'll shut up now, but I do think everyone should at least try it.
